Environmental policies for the conservation of natural resources in cultural tourism activities

RESUMEN
La preservación de los recursos naturales en turismo cultural es esencial para proteger el medio ambiente y preservar los destinos. Las políticas ambientales juegan un papel clave en la regulación del uso de recursos naturales, buscando minimizar los impactos negativos. Sin embargo, la falta de implementación efectiva y financiamiento adecuado sigue siendo un desafío. La participación de las comunidades locales en la gestión y toma de decisiones fortalece la conservación, generando beneficios económicos y sociales directos para estas comunidades. Además, la educación ambiental fomenta prácticas turísticas responsables que contribuyen a la conservación. El estudio de políticas ambientales, se realizó con el objetivo de promover su conservación y desarrollo sostenible en la Región Puno, debido a su importancia como ecosistema frágil y único en la región. Los resultados sostienen que un 80% no arroja residuos sólidos al lago; respecto a la preservación, el 50% conserva ecosistemas acuáticos y terrestres, ya que existe educación; en cuanto al fomento de políticas ambientales, un 70% realiza la conservación del espacio natural. Se viene trabajando de forma articulada con las instituciones públicas y educativas, por otro lado, la falta de coordinación entre actores limita la efectividad de las políticas actuales. Es fundamental adoptar enfoques adaptativos y monitorear continuamente las políticas para lograr un desarrollo verdaderamente sostenible. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica del fichado in situ. Se ha utilizado la fórmula para la evaluación de las políticas de conservación a recursos naturales y desarrollo sostenible los recursos potenciales.

ABSTRACT
The preservation of natural resources in cultural tourism is essential to protect the environment and preserve destinations. Environmental policies play a key role in regulating the use of natural resources, seeking to minimize negative impacts. However, the lack of effective implementation and adequate funding remains a challenge. The participation of local communities in management and decision-making strengthens conservation, generating direct economic and social benefits for these communities. In addition, environmental education encourages responsible tourism practices that contribute to conservation. The study of environmental policies was carried out with the objective of promoting conservation and sustainable development in the Puno Region, due to its importance as a fragile and unique ecosystem in the region, obtaining as a result 80% do not throw solid waste into the lake, with respect to preservation 50% conserve aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems there is an education in terms of promoting environmental policies with 70% of those who do in order to conserve the natural space, they are working in coordination with public and educational institutions, on the other hand the lack of coordination between actors limit the
